The goal of our Italian operation is to set up a European network for the collection of spent catalytic converters in compliance with the current European and local legislation in terms of industrial waste. As this project progresses and volumes permit, we shall add processing, sampling and smelting lines in Italy.

We offer a competitive collection service with payment upon receipt of goods. Our prices reflect current trends in the platinum group metals (PGM) market.

Invemet S.r.l. offers refining services for those suppliers who wish to process their converters on an out-turn basis. The converters can be shipped whole or in the decanned state (ceramic monolyths). There is no charge levied to decan the catalyst material.

We request that tailpipes be cut as close to the converter as possible. This optimizes packaging and handling procedures ensuring the best rate of return for suppliers.
